You can pay in your own currency; the fare is settled against its GBP value.When: the estimate is held on your card the moment you book. If the final fare is lower, you are charged the lower amount; anything extra (waiting time, extra stops) is agreed with you first.If verification fails: no money is taken and the hold is released automatically (your bank may show a pending line for a day or two).
